The location right on the High Street provides immediate access to charming shops and scenic views, making it a prime starting point for exploration. The courtyard area is a lovely spot to unwind, especially when beautifully lit at night.
Unfortunately, the upkeep of the facilities leaves much to be desired. The room displayed visible signs of neglect, from dusty surfaces to a shower with mold that seemed to thrive rather than be managed. The bedding felt old and uncomfortable, with a mattress that resembled a glorified picnic bench rather than a comfortable place to lay your head. Parking is a challenge, often compelling guests to circle around in search of a limited space. Dining options were also less than ideal, as on one occasion guests had to venture elsewhere due to staffing issues, highlighting inconsistencies in service availability.

Had a great time with friends! The location was spot-on for exploring charming shops and breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed dinner each night. Just a heads up, while some areas felt a bit worn down, the staff's friendliness made up for it. Definitely give this place a shot for a fun getaway!
One downside was the noticeable mold in certain public areas. It's something that could use attention to enhance the overall experience.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape
We had this amazing breakfast, I swear it puts those fancy cafes in Paris to shame, like fresh croissants that melt in your mouth. Plus, there was this lovely little garden where we sipped our drinks, it just felt like a hidden gem, you know?

the location is right on the high street which was super convienent. the building has so much charm, really historic vibes. breakfast was simple but really good, especially the eggs. scott and the other staff were friendly and always helpful. we loved chillin in the garden area at night when it lit up, really pretty.
the room could have been cleaner, especially the windows. and parking is a total pain since there's no space at the hotel itself.

The first room had several maintenance issues. curtains were coming off their rail and the shower was hardly functional. The lack of cleanliness was notable, with dust and hair noticeable on the bathroom floor, alongside a disappointing housekeeping experience where the bed wasn't made properly. A second room suffered from loud noises from nearby bars, indicating soundproofing could use improvement. a leaky shower became an annoyance which didn’t get fixed promptly, leading to a frustrating stay overall.
